The Covid-19 Vaccination whilst Pregnant

Your feedback is needed to shape new initiative
Family Connections is the proposed name for Somerset’s Family Hub model, a joined up approach to family support services.
The Family Connections initiative will better coordinate the services that already exist to make it easier for families to find the right information and support they need when they need it. It is not a new service. The initiative will be aimed at families with children and young people and will seek to adopt a whole family approach exploring the needs of the children and the adults within the family.
Staff across Somerset County Council, NHS Somerset, education, Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE), primary care, district councils, public health, Avon and Somerset Police, can make a significant and positive contribution to how Family Connections will operate to best suit services, service users and staff.
Please help us by filling in the survey by end of September.

The Home Library Service
Reading is a fantastic way to stimulate our brains, which in turn, can improve memory and help to reduce the likelihood of developing dementia.
The Home Library Service delivers books to people who are unable to get to their local library, such as those who are housebound, living in long term care, carers, or people who are vulnerable due to long term conditions or disabilities. The service is open to people of all ages.
If you or anyone you know would like to receive the service, please contact Home Library Service manager Kirsty Jenssen by emailing kjenssen@somerset.gov.uk, or calling 07814 079831.
